太赫兹信道测量研究与实测结果分析

摘要 太赫兹通信技术是下一代无线通信的关键技术之一。相较于5G的毫米波频段,太赫兹频段的电磁波波长更短、波束更窄、抗捕获能力和抗干扰能力更强。但另一方面,更高的频率意味着更大的衰减。在太赫兹频段,传播距离相较于毫米波进一步缩短,需要对太赫兹频段的无线传播环境进行测量与建模,作为评估太赫兹通信技术的基础。罗德与施瓦茨公司在信道测量方面有着丰富的研究经验,为推动太赫兹频段信道测量的研究工作,介绍了太赫兹频段时域信道测量和频域信道测量的两种方法,并基于罗德与施瓦茨公司的信号源和频谱仪,分别在158、300 GHz频段对常见通信场景如城市街道峡谷、室内购物中心等进行了信道测量,并分析了信道冲激响应(Channel Impulse Response, CIR)。太赫兹技术已经在业内具有了一定研究基础,但仍有许多技术挑战亟待解决。通过对信道测量方法的介绍和对实测结果的分析,对太赫兹频段下的信道特征进行了研究与总结,为后续太赫兹相关领域的研究工作打下了基础。 Terahertz communication technology is one of the key technologies of the next generation wireless communication.Compared with the millimeter wave band of 5G,the electromagnetic wave wavelength of the terahertz band is shorter,the beam is narrower,and the anti-capture ability and anti-interference ability are stronger.On the other hand,higher frequencies mean greater attenuation.In the terahertz band,the propagation distance is further shortened compared with millimeter wave,which requires the measurement and modeling of the wireless propagation environment in the terahertz band as the basis for evaluating the terahertz communication technology.Rohde&Schwarz has rich research experience in channel measurement.In order to promote the research work of channel measurement in terahertz band,this paper introduces two methods of time-domain channel measurement and frequency-domain channel measurement in terahertz band.Channel measurement of common communication scenes such as city street canyons and indoor shopping centers in the 158 GHz and 300 GHz frequency bands was carried out,and the Channel Impulse Response(CIR)was analyzed.Finally,it is pointed out that terahertz technology has a certain research basis in the academic field,but there are still many technical challenges to be solved.Through the introduction of channel measurement method and the analysis of measured results,channel characteristics in the terahertz band are studied and summarized in this paper,which lays a foundation for subsequent research work in the field of terahertz.
