在“一带一路”倡议的推动下,工程技术翻译研究逐渐从应用翻译研究中凸显出来,成为新的学术研究增长点。《工程技术翻译学导论》的出版恰逢其时。该书明确了工程技术翻译学的内涵与外延,调查了中外研究进展,论述了翻译主客体,探讨了翻译人才培养等整体性问题。该书拓宽了翻译研究领域,对翻译教育也有启发。本文首先简要介绍各章内容,然后对其特色之处进行评价。

Driven by the Belt and Road Initiative,industrial engineering interpretation and translation studies gradually stands out from pragmatic translation studies as an emerging research area.In response to this trend,the book An Introduction to Translatology of Industrial Engineering Interpretation&Translation was published.It clarifies the connotation and denotation of industrial engineering interpretation and translation,investigates research progress worldwide,elaborates on the subject and object of translation,and discusses issues of common concern such as translation methods and translator training.This book broadens the scope of translation studies and inspires translation education.The paper first gives a brief introduction to the book,and then offers some comments on its value.
