Inheritance and Development:Analysis of Mao Zedong’s Cultural Heritage Viewpoint from the Perspective of the New Era

毛泽东从文化具有历史延续性的前提出发,肯定和尊重历史文化遗产的当代价值,从理论建构和实践行为两个维度思考和践行文化遗产的保护、传承与革新创造,形成了辨析文化遗产精华与糟粕的人民性、时代性和科学性取舍标准,阐释了以古为今用为核心要义的对文化遗产的批判继承态度,明确了以创造新文化为最终目的的古为今用目的论,最终建构起了毛泽东文化遗产观,为在新时代背景下以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导树立正确的文化遗产保护态度、增益文化自信、推进中国特色社会主义文化建设提供了重要遵循。

Starting from the premise of historical continuity of culture,Mao Zedong affirmed and respected the contemporary value of historical and cultural heritage,considered and practiced the protection,inheritance and innovation of cultural heritage from the two dimensions of theoretical construction and practical behavior,formed demotic,contemporaneity and scientific trade-off standards for distinguishing the essence and dross of cultural heritage,explained the critical inheritance attitude of cultural heritage with adapting ancient forms for present day use as the core meaning,clarified creating new culture as the ultimate purpose.He finally constructed Mao Zedong’s concept of cultural heritage,which provided important guidance for establishing a correct cultural heritage protection attitude,enhancing cultural self-confidence and promoting the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the context of the new era.
