In this paper,a proposal of aluminum hood about the material type,elongation,timeliness requirements,flanging performance and design parameters.Compared with the steel hood,the aluminum hood has the advantages of lightweight,reducing the mass center of vehicles,improving the driving stability and better pedestrian protection performance.
