Interdisciplinary Curatorial Practices:The Young UABB

2022年第九届深港城市建筑双年展中的「青年深双」板块,八个跨学科的年轻团队组合,围绕全球气候变化背景下的城市的特定议题,提出应对策略,受到广泛的关注和讨论。这次面向未来的跨界策展实践,鼓励青年建筑师走出自己熟悉的领域,建立对话、发现问题,并且以多媒介的方式去表达对议题的理解,以思想者的身份来呈现自己的研究。在建筑学面对日益复杂的问题和更大的挑战的背景下,此次策展不仅是研究和设计提案的呈现,还是一次设计方法的创新实验。

The'Young UABB'section of the 9th Shenzhen-Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture in 2022,in which eight young interdisciplinary teams combine to propose response strategies around specific topics of the city in the context of global climate change,has received widespread attention and discussion.This future-oriented cross-border curatorial practice encourages young architects to step out of their familiar fields,establish dialogues,identify problems,and express their understanding of the issues in a multi-media way,presenting their research as thinkers.In the context of architecture facing increasingly complex issues and greater challenges,this curatorial practice is not only a presentation of research and design proposals,but also an innovative experiment in design methodology.
