虚拟桌面与零客户端在实验室管理中的研究应用——VMware Horizon View与Dell Wyse Zero Client的融合研究

Research Application of Virtual Desktop and Zero Client in Laboratory Management-Research on the Fusion of VMware Horizon View and Dell Wyse Zero Client

我校计算机实验室至今仍在使用2006年开发的机房计费管理系统,此系统的刷卡终端安装于实验室外,常年运行在恶劣的户外环境中,因此故障频发,无法长时间正常运行。面对上述问题,我校教学环境部利用当前已趋于成熟的虚拟桌面技术,让机房计费管理系统的刷卡终端能够稳定地运行在恶劣的户外环境中,并且能够便利地对其进行管理和维护。

The computer laboratory of our school is still using the computer room billing management system developed in 2006.The card-swiping terminal of this system is installed outside the laboratory and operates in the harsh outdoor environment all the year round.Therefore,frequent failures occur and it cannot operate normally for a long time.Faced with the above problems,the Teaching Environment Department of our school decided to use the currently mature virtual desktop technology to allow the card-swiping terminal of the computer room billing management system to run more stably in the harsh outdoor environment,and more conveniently manage and maintain.
