藏文文献视域下的《舍身饲虎》文本与壁画

Text and Murals on“The Great Sattva Sacrificing Himself to Feed Tigers”from the Perspective of Ancient Tibetan Texts

“舍身饲虎”是最具代表性的本生故事之一。该故事流传广泛、版本众多,在壁画中表现尤为丰富。目前,有关“舍身饲虎”的研究成果主要集中于敦煌、新疆、麦积山等地相关石窟壁画,对多语种或藏文文献中的“舍身饲虎”缺乏必要的关注。鉴于此,本文从藏文文献视域出发,在介绍“舍身饲虎”各藏文版本及相关文献的基础上,结合“舍身饲虎”各类图像,从故事名称、人物、情节叙述等方面进行比较,梳理和分析“舍身饲虎”各文献版本之间的关系及特征。

The story is one of the most representative tales of Jataka stories.The story is widely circulated and has many versions,especially richly expressed in murals.The research on"The Great Sattva Sacrificing Himself to Feed Tigers"focuses on cave murals in Dunhuang,Xinjiang,Maiji Mountain,and other places.However,there is a lack of attention on this topic in multilingual or Tibetan literature.In this regard,this article starts from the perspective of Tibetan literature and introduces the Tibetan versions of"The Great Sattva Sacrificing Himself to Feed Tigers"and related literature,as well as various images.This article compares the story name,characters,plot narration,and multiple aspects while also analyzing the relationship and characteristics between the different literature versions of"The Great Sattva Sacrificing Himself to Feed Tigers."
