Chinese-style modernization is a socialist construction movement led by the Communist Party of China(CPC)under the guidance of historical materialism,which opens up a new starting point for socialist modernization on the premise of the value of“real human beings”,promotes a new journey of socialist modernization on the basis of the practical guideline of coordinating the dialectical movement of social existence and social consciousness,and promotes a new achievement of socialist modernization on the basis of the mechanism of maintaining the reasonable tension between the productive forces and the relations of production.In a nutshell,the formation and development of Chinese-style modernization has a deep materialist-historical connotation.By interpreting and applying the text of The German Ideology,based on the ideological method of Marxist historical materialism,and analyzing the materialist-historical implications of the formation of Chinese-style modernization,we are not only able to grasp the historical principle of our country's insistence on advancing socialist modernization,but also able to see through the practical shortcomings of Western modernization in the reverse direction.This is a double manifestation of the truth of the Marxist materialist conception of history and the accuracy of the path of Chinese-style modernization.
