Folk printing and dyeing art,as a traditional handicraft technology with profound cultural heritage and ethnic characteristics,is closely related to environmental art design in terms of craftsmanship,spiritual culture,and folk characteristics.Therefore,these two forms of art play important roles in the protection and innovative development of traditional culture,and play a positive role in optimizing the living environment and social envi⁃ronment.Deeply exploring the characteristics of folk printing and dyeing art,it is found that combining it with environmental art design can endow environmental art works with rich aesthetic value,deep cultural value,and sustainable ecological value.Starting from the correlation between folk printing and dyeing art and environmen⁃tal art design,the specific application of folk printing and dyeing art in environmental art landscape techniques and spatial composition is explored to promote the innovative development of the environmental art design in⁃dustry.
