数字技术应用对灵活就业群体性别收入差距的影响研究

Impact of Digital Technology Application on Gender Income Gap in Flexible Employment Groups

基于2014年、2016年和2018年中国劳动力动态调查数据库(CLDS),考察了数字技术应用对灵活就业群体性别收入差距的影响。结果表明:数字技术应用能够实现灵活就业者收入的整体提升,并有利于灵活就业群体性别收入差距的缩小。作用机制检验结果表明,数字技术应用通过减弱性别特征影响和减少性别歧视的途径实现灵活就业群体性别收入差距的缩减。异质性分析表明,数字技术应用对中高收入群体的性别收入差距缩减作用更加显著。

Based on data from the China Labor Dynamics Survey(CLDS)in 2014,2016,and 2018,this study investigates the impact of digital technology application on the gender income gap within the flexible employment sector.The results indicate that the application of digital technology can enhance the overall income of flexible workers and contribute to a reduction in the gender income gap within the flexible employment sector.Mechanism testing results reveal that digital technology application achieves this reduction by diminishing the impact of gender characteristics and mitigating gender discrimination.Heterogeneous analysis demonstrates that in comparison to the low-income group,the application of digital technology has a more significant effect on reducing the gender income gap in middle and high-income groups.
