韩国语言景观中的汉字分布及其意义表征

Distribution and Semantic Representation of Chinese Characters in the Korean Linguistic Landscape

本文以韩国汉字语言景观为研究对象,采用田野调查法、网络调查法和个体分析法,梳理了汉字在当代韩国语言景观中的分布与功能。研究发现:汉字既存在于自上而下的语言景观之中,又是自下而上的语言景观的重要组成部分;汉字与其他语码主要表现为复制式、片段式、互补式和隐显互动式;汉字在当代韩国生活中实现了历史的、民族的和庄重的文化占位。

This study focuses on the research topic of Chinese characters in the Korean linguistic landscape.Employing field research,online surveys,and individual analysis,the paper explores the distribution and functions of Chinese characters in contemporary Korean language environments.The findings reveal that Chinese characters are not only present in the top-down linguistic landscape but also constitute an important component of the bottom-up linguistic landscape.The interaction between Chinese characters and other language codes is primarily manifested in replication,fragmentation,complementarity,and implicit-explicit modes.In contemporary Korean society,Chinese characters serve as carriers of historical,ethnic,and solemn cultural identities.
