从隐喻当代理论到当代隐喻学认知蜕变卅载(1994-2023)

Thirty Years Metamorphosis from the Contemporary Theory of Metaphor to Contemporary Metaphorological Cognition(1994-2023)

隐喻当代理论的雏形现于1993年莱考夫(Lakoff)发表的长文,该理论近年来已成为隐喻研究领域的一块“压舱石”。语言学界雨后春笋般涌现出诸多隐喻当代理论研究的优秀成果,助推“理论”蜕变成“学”,当代隐喻学呼之欲出。本文通过梳理1994—2023年当代隐喻学研究三十载发展历程,扼要盘点五项代表性成果在理论和应用两方面的探索现状,依照隐喻现有研究指出有待继续深入挖掘的方面,并结合研究现状和发展态势对当代隐喻学予以展望。分析表明,当代隐喻学在理论深度和应用广度上不断扩充,切实出现了跳脱隐喻当代理论藩篱并破茧成蝶的革命趋向。本文希冀为该领域的深入挖掘和蓬勃发展提供参考。

The rudiment of the contemporary theory of metaphor was initiated in Lakoff s long article published in 1993 which has become an essential cornerstone in the field of metaphor studies.Subsequently,many outstanding achievements of the contemporary theory of metaphor emerged in the linguistic field.Centering around combing the research results of five representative theories in contemporary metaphorology in the past 30 years from 1994 to 2023,this paper conducts an analysis of the current research situation from both theory and application.Simultaneously,this article points out the aspects to be further explored in terms of the research status.At the end of this paper,we cast expectations about the future of contemporary metaphorology based on the research situation and development tide.It is found that the theoretical depth and applied breadth of contemporary metaphorology are constantly expanding,and there is a revolutionarily transformational trend beyond the contemporary theory of metaphor.This study attempts to provide reference for further in-depth research and vigorous advancement in this realm.
