Food Dilemma and Countermeasures in Hubei-Henan-Anhui Revolutionary Base Areas

土地革命战争时期,鄂豫皖革命根据地发生自然灾害,出现非生产人数增加、国民党反动派抢夺和破坏粮食,以及党的部分工作人员对粮食工作认识不清等问题,导致鄂豫皖革命根据地的军民面临严峻的粮食困境。为了巩固根据地发展与保障军民粮食供应,中国共产党领导鄂豫皖革命根据地军民通过开展生产自救、动员群众捐粮、开展扒粮斗争、设立累进税、节约粮食等多种措施,在尽最大可能保障军民的生存生活,巩固和增强了中国共产党的凝聚力和号召力、丰富和发展了军民战时斗争经验。

During the agrarian revolutionary war,natural disasters occurred in the Hubei-Henan-Anhui revolutionary base areas,the number of non-productive people has increased,and the Kuomintang reactionaries robbed and destroyed food,and some Party workers had no clear understanding of the food work,thus,resulting in a severe food dilemma for the army and people of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui revolutionary base areas.In order to consolidate the base development and ensure food supply for the army and people,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,the army and people conducted self-rescue production,appealing to the masses to donate grain,carring out the struggle against the landlords to get more food,setting up progressive tax and saving food.To ensure the survival of military and civilian life,it is vital to consolidate and enhance the cohesion and appeal of the Communist Party of China,enrich and develop the experience of the military and civilian wartime struggles.
