摘要
近年来,全球各地的网络运营商一直在将其光纤到户网络从千兆级无源光网络(Passive optical networking, PON)PON系统升级到10 G量级。随着宽带业务量的迅猛增长,业界迫切需要超越10G的下一代PON系统,为了更好地适应未来发展,ITU-T已经确定了下一步由50 Gbps线速率为主的高速PON系统的演进方案。文章主要介绍了标准化的50G-PON系统以及下一代光接入网相关技术的特点和现状,分析了当前PON技术存在的问题,并对未来的的发展进行了展望。
In recent years,network operators around the world have been upgrading their fiber to home networks from gigabit passive optical networking(PON)PON systems to the 10 gigabit scale.With the rapid growth of broadband business volume,the industry urgently needs the next generation PON system that surpasses 10G.In order to better adapt to future development,ITU-T has determined the next evolution plan of a high-speed PON system dominated by 50 Gbps line rate.This article mainly introduces the standardized 50G-PON system and the characteristics and current status of next-generation optical access network related technologies.It analyzes the problems in current PON technology and prospects for future development.
