The Development of"Automalic Writing":On the Transformation of Artificial Intelligence into Artistic Intelligence

ChatGPT等一系列人工智能软件的出现在引发公众热议的同时,也催生了有关人工智能会否取代人类的终极思考。人工智能业已渗透至人类智性世界的各个领域,并在许多领域完成了对人类的超越。人类的艺术创造力俨然成了这一技术亟待跨越的最后一道门槛。本文试以凝聚人类思想精华的“写作”为对象,以不同时期、不同领域中的“自动写作”实践为线索,探究当前人工智能进行艺术创作的原理与其深层局限,借以观照人工智能与艺术智能之间的转换可能性及其所引发的美学与人类学思考。

The emergence of a range of AI software,such as ChatGPT,has sparked public debate and given rise to the ultimate thinking about whether AI will replace human beings.Artificial intelligence has penetrated into all fields of the human intellectual world,and has surpassed human beings in many fields.Human artistic creativity has clearly become the last threshold to be crossed by this technology.This paper attempts to take"writing,"which condenses the essence of human thought,as the object,and take the practice of"automatic writing"in different periods and fields as the clues to explore the principles and deep limitations of art creation by Al,so as to observe the possibility of transformation between artificial intelligence and artistic intelligence,and the aesthetic and anthropological considerations it triggers.
