宋代昆山卫氏家族研究

A Study of the Wei Family in Kunshan in the Song Dynasty

卫氏自唐末由齐地迁入华亭,后再转迁至昆山,家世业儒,族人在科考、仕宦、文学等方面取得了一定的成就,是当时有名的望族。以《卫氏续修宗谱》作为主要参考对象,并对照墓志铭及宋人文集、地方志,详细考察卫氏家族在昆山的形成、发展、繁盛、凋敝的过程。从卫氏的发展来看,其早年就有了一定的积累,后来又致力于读书和科举,为官后在朝中扬名,而在地方社会中,又通过联姻和参加当地的公益事业来稳固其在当地的地位。对卫氏的研究为南宋昆山及苏州的士人家族研究聊备一例。

Since the end of the Tang Dynasty,the Wei family moved from Qi to Huating and then moved to Kunshan.Some members of this family were famous for their achievements in Confucianism.The family had made achievements in the imperial examinations,being an official,literature and so on,and was a famous and prestigious family at that time.This paper takes Wei family’s Genealogy as the main reference and investigates in detail the process of formation,development,prosperity and decay of this family in Kunshan by comparing with epitaphs,anthologies of Song Scholars,and local chronicles.From the development of the Wei family,they had certain accumulations in their early years,and then they devoted themselves to studying and taking part in the imperial examinations.After becoming officials,they earned a good name for themselves in the imperial court,and in the local community,they stabilized their position by connections through marriage and participation in local public welfare undertakings.The study of this family can provide an example for the study of the scholastic family in Kunshan and Suzhou in the Southern Song Dynasty.
