中国共产党领导的协商民主建设经过了一百多年的发展历程。江泽民、胡锦涛和习近平等党和国家领导人立足中国民主政治的发展实践,结合国情实际,围绕协商民主发表了一系列重要讲话,形成了关于协商民主内涵、性质、渠道、发展要求、制度建设等方面的一系列重要论述,推动建构了中国特色社会主义民主政治理论体系,对马克思主义民主政治理论的丰富和发展作出了重大理论贡献,直接影响和推动了中国特色社会主义民主政治制度体系全面建设及不断完善。

The construction of consultative democracy led by the Communist Party of China has gone through a development process of more than a hundred years.Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao,Xi Jinping and other leaders of the Party and State,based on the practical development of China's democratic politics and in combination with the national conditions,have made important speeches on consultative democracy,forming a series of important discourses concerning the connotation,nature,requirement and institutions of consultative democracy,which constitute an important part of theory of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics and a significant contribution of the Party to the Marxist theory of democratic politics.It directly influences and promotes the comprehensive construction and continuous improvement of the socialist democratic political system with Chinese characteristics.
