Methodological Study on Carbon Sequestration in Tea Plantations

摘要 茶园作为碳排放来源的同时,也有巨大的固碳潜力。在“双碳”目标的大背景下,利用茶园生态系统发挥其碳汇功能,促进茶园低碳发展成为首要目标,但碳汇方法学的欠缺仍然是阻碍茶园碳汇评估与核查的关键。文章借鉴林业碳汇项目方法学,从碳库的选择、基线情景的识别、基线碳汇量的确定、项目情景碳储量和适用条件等方面探索出适合我国茶园碳汇项目的方法学,提出主要考虑茶树(地上+地下)生物量和土壤基线有机碳储量的变化,不考虑枯落物以及木产品碳库变化量的方法,为建立茶园碳汇评估方法体系及碳交易市场建设提供理论参考。 As a source of carbon emissions,tea gardens have great potential for carbon sequestration.Under the background of"double carbon"goal,the primary goal is to use tea gardens ecosystem to play their carbon sink function and promote the development of low-carbon tea production.However,the lack of carbon sink methodology system is the key problem that hinders the evaluation and verification of carbon sink in tea gardens.By referring to forestry carbon sink projects assessment methods,this paper explored a carbon sink project methodology suitable for tea gardens from the aspects of carbon pool selection,identification of baseline scenarios,determination of baseline carbon sinks,carbon storage in project scenarios and applicable conditions,and mainly considered the changes of tea tree biomass(above ground+underground)and baseline soil organic carbon storage,without considering changes of litter and wood products carbon pool.It provided a theoretical reference for the establishment of carbon sink assessment method system in tea gardens.
