论中华文化传统的创造性转化

On the Creative Transformation of Chinese Cultural Tradition

中华文化传统的“创造性转化”是近年来中国文化理论与实践的核心议题。就其概念内涵与实践效果而言,创造性转化也是中华文化传统之一,是近代中国文化变迁和发展的基本经验。合理地锚定转化的对象和内容,应当区分“传统文化”与“文化传统”两个概念,需要转化也可以转化的是“文化传统”而不是“传统文化”。根据文化传统的民族性、时代性和开放性的特征,创造性转化的基本方式是“接着”传统并以“层累式”创作来延展传统,以“接合”“去接合”的方式拓展传统,以释放被排斥、压抑的内容和实践来优化传统。应予强调的是,文化传统的“创造性转化”重在创造,重在探索。作为中华民族精神自由舒展、自我实现的过程,创造性转化有丰富的历史经验而没有刻板的程式,有明确的方向也需要民族的集体实践。

The creative transformation of traditional Chinese culture has been a core issue in Chinese cultural theory and practice in recent years.In terms of its conceptual connotation and practical effects,creative transformation is also one of the traditions of Chinese culture,and is the basic experience of the transformation and development of modern Chinese culture.Reasonably anchoring the object and content of transformation should distinguish between the concepts of"traditional culture"and"cultural tradition",and what needs to be transformed and can be transformed is"cultural tradition"rather than"traditional culture".According to the national,contemporary,and open characteristics of cultural traditions,the basic way of creative transformation is to"continue"the tradition and extend it through"Layer by layer"creation,expand tradition through"articulation/disarticulation",and optimize tradition by releasing excluded and suppressed content and practices.It should be emphasized that the creative transformation of cultural traditions focuses on creation and exploration.As a process of free extension and self realization of the spirit of the Chinese nation,creative transformation has rich historical experience but without rigid procedures,and it has clear direction but requires collective practice of the nation.
