信号倒计时显示方式对行人过街速度的影响

摘要 目的为探寻信号倒计时显示方式对行人过街速度的影响机制。方法设计并组织了真实环境下的行人过街试验,深入解析全程信号倒计时和10 s信号倒计时两种显示方式下行人过街速度的差异特性,并根据过街速度对绿灯时长进行了优化。结果在两种倒计时信号灯显示方式下,男性过街速度显著>女性,青年组过街速度显著>中年与老年组;步行速度随着过街起始时段的推移而增大;全程信号倒计时下过街速度>10 s信号倒计时;在全程信号倒计时显示方式下人行横道中段速度>前段与后段;在10 s信号倒计时显示方式下随着过街起始时段的推移,人行横道中段与后段速度差异性显著减小;在同一年龄人群中,信号倒计时显示方式是影响行人过街速度的显著性因素。结论本研究结果可为交通安全设施设计与优化提供理论支撑。 Objective In order to explore the influence mechanism of signal countdown display mode on pedestrian crossing speed.Methods A pedestrian crossing test in real environment was designed and organized.The difference characteristics of pedestrian crossing speed under the two display modes of full signal countdown and 10 second signal countdown were deeply analyzed,and the green light duration was optimized according to the crossing speed.Results Under the two countdown signal light display modes,the crossing speed of males is significantly higher than that of females,and the crossing speed of young group is significantly higher than that of middle-aged and elderly groups.The walking speed increases with the passage of the initial time of crossing the street.The whole signal countdown crossing speed is greater than 10 seconds signal countdown;in the full signal countdown display mode,the speed of the middle section of the crosswalk is greater than that of the front and rear sections;under the 10-second signal countdown display mode,with the passage of the initial time of crossing the street,the speed difference between the middle and rear sections of the crosswalk is significantly reduced;in the same age group,the signal countdown display mode is a significant factor affecting the pedestrian crossing speed.Conclusion The results of this study can provide theoretical support for the design and optimization of traffic safety facilities.
