具身的离身化:“身联网”与虚拟身体的建构

Embodied Disembodiment:"Internet of Bodies"and the Establishment of Virtual Bodies

“身联网”是通过可穿戴、可摄入和可嵌入的技术设备把人体连入网络的“万物互联”系统。一方面,身体的外部和内部皆以身体数据的方式表征出来,“身联网”得以成为一种数据化具身的技术;另一方面,由于数据无法完全表征身体,致使“数据自我”与真实自我之间产生割裂,“身联网”又呈现为一种数据化离身的技术。进而,建立在身体数据基础上的“虚拟身体”不仅建构了自我与他者的共感模式以及自我身份认同的多样性和不确定性,而且也不断使想象的场景现实化。最后,需要协调“身联网”在未来发展中具身与离身之间的张力关系,才能够把该项技术引向良性轨道。

The Internet of Bodies(loB)can be seen as a system of"Internet of Everything"that connects human bodies to the information network through wearable,ingestible and embeddable technological devices.On the one hand,the exterior and interior of bodies are represented by body data,so the IoB can be seen as a technology of datafied embodiment;on the other hand,because the data cannot fully represent bodies,it leads to the separation between"data selves"and the real ones,the IoB can be seen as a datafied disembodied technology as well.Thus,the"virtual bodies"base on the body data not only construct the synesthesia mode of selves and others,and the diversity and uncertainty of self identities,but also constantly make imaginary scenes into realistic ones.Finally,it is necessary to coordinate the tension between embodiment and disembodiment of the loB in future development,so as to lead the technology to a good track.
