数字龛位的主动推理:迈向元宇宙的预测心智

摘要 基于主动推理架构的预测心智理论可描绘个人与媒介的动态耦合,揭示互联网革命的终局——“元宇宙”——在认知意义上的本质:接地的、具身的、内容愈发丰富的信息传播媒介终将成为互联网用户数字生活的认知龛位乃至生态龛位,个人与媒介终将在互动中实现有别于传统形态的意义建构:在更大的空间尺度和更长的时间跨度上,这种变化只是个人与媒介围绕主动推理的主导地位展开往复争夺的缩影。 The predictive mind theories based on the architecture of Active Inference have the potential to give a normative formal description of the dynamic coupling between man and media from the perspective of cognitive science,thereby revealing the essence of“metaverse”that has been deemed as the terminal point of Internet revolution.According to the predictive mind theories,information media which is grounded,embodied and with greatly rich content will eventually become the cognitive niche or even the ecological niche of the Internet users’digital living,supporting a new form of sense-making in the dynamics of man-media interaction,compared to that in the physical world.At a larger spatiotemporal scale,under all these grand transitions lies the implicit theme of seesaw battle between man and media for the role of leading dancer in Active Inference.
