基于自适应超时间隔调整的名字解析加速方法

摘要 基于名字解析的信息中心网络(ICN)在支持移动性时,由于终端移动后向名字解析系统注册其标识符和新地址的映射的时间不确定,网络设备需多次向名字解析系统发起解析查询,直到获取移动终端标识符对应的新地址,并将新地址作为目的地址进行数据传输。在网络设备多次向名字解析系统发起解析查询的过程中,需要设计一个合理的解析查询方法,以减少网络设备获取新地址的时延和移动终端的业务中断时延。本文提出一种基于自适应超时间隔调整的名字解析加速方法,该方法利用往返时延(RTT)的指数加权移动平均值自适应地调整超时间隔。实验结果表明,本文提出的方法和采用传输控制协议(TCP)中重传超时的估计方法(RFC6298)自适应地调整超时间隔的方法相比,新地址获取的平均时延减少了约12.48%;本文提出的方法与采用超时间隔为恒定值的方法相比,新地址获取的平均时延减少了约21.92%。 When ICN based on name resolution supports mobility,since the time when the terminal after moving registers the mapping of its identifier and new address to the name resolution system is uncertain,network devices need to initiate multiple resolution queries to the name-resolution system until they obtain the new address corresponding to the mobile terminal's identifier,and use the new address as the destination address for data transmission.In the process of the multiple resolution queries initiated by the network devices to the name resolution system,it is necessary to design reasonable resolution query methods to reduce the latency for the network devices to get the new address.This paper proposes a resolution query acceleration method based on adaptive timeout interval adjustment,which uses the exponentially-weighted moving average of RTT to adaptively adjust the timeout interval.Experimental results show that the proposed method reduces the average resolution query latency by 12.48%compared to the method of adaptively adjusting the timeout interval using the estimation method of the retransmission timeout in TCP of RFC6298,and by 21.92%compared to the method using a constant timeout interval.
