摘要
Standing at an altitude of more than 4000 m,the Tibetan Plateau is often referred to as the"roof of the world"and"the third pole of the Earth".Harsh environmental conditions including cold, reduced oxygen levels, and stronger than normal ultraviolet radiation caused by high altitude, emphasize the range of challenges for human survival.
