Historical symbols carry rich historical information and cultural significance,and play a vital role in cultural inheritance and development,but these symbols are often devalued,distorted or forgotten.Taking the public art wall of Chengdu Jinsha site Museum Subway Station as a case,this paper deeply analyzes the application status of historical symbols in urban development,discusses the practical value and social significance of symbol reinterpretation in contemporary urban cultural construction,in order to provide methods for the shaping and dissemination of urban cultural images and lay a foundation for the academic research on wall art.
