数字经济与加工贸易转型升级

Digital economy and transformation and upgrading of processing trade

基于2015—2021年中国内地27个省份的省际面板数据,从数字基础设施、数字产业化和产业数字化三个维度,利用熵值法测算了各省域数字经济发展水平及东、中、西部地区数字经济发展水平;利用加工贸易进出口数据测算了加工贸易转型升级水平;实证检验了数字经济对加工贸易转型升级的影响。研究发现,中国数字经济正在高速发展,但明显存在区域差异,东部地区数字经济发展水平远高于中、西部地区;数字经济对加工贸易转型升级具有显著促进效应,这一结论在内生性与稳健性检验中仍然成立;数字经济通过技术创新、人力资本结构优化和产业结构升级等促进加工贸易转型升级。

Based on inter provincial panel data from 27 provinces in China's Mainland from 2015 to 2021,the development level of digital economy in each province and the eastern,central,and western regions was calculated using entropy method from three dimensions:digital infrastructure,digital industrialization,and industrial digitization.The level of transformation and upgrading of processing trade was calculated using import and export data of processing trade.We empirically tested the impact of the digital economy on the transformation and upgrading of processing trade.Our research has found that China’s digital economy is developing rapidly,but there are obvious regional differences and polarization phenomena,that the development level of digital economy in the eastern region is much higher than that in the central and western regions,that the digital economy has a significant promoting effect on the transformation and upgrading of processing trade,which is still valid in the endogeneity and robustness tests;and that the digital economy promotes the transformation and upgrading of processing trade through technological innovation,optimization of human capital structure,and upgrading of industrial structure.
