The development of high-quality recess sports activities is an important element to improve the overall quality of school sports activities.Comparative analysis is used to study the status and implementation strategies of school recess physical activities in the United States.In the United States,based on the shared governance of multi-disciplinary subjects,resources are effectively shared;with the purpose of youth health promotion,a consensus on values is widely gathered;with the framework activity plan as a guide,supporting policies are actively promoted.In the specific implementation strategy of recess sports activities,American schools have developed a system to guide the organization and implementation of recess sports activities,created a suitable campus environ-ment to promote participation in sports activities,united stakeholders to promote the healthy development of students and implemen-ted monitoring and evaluation to ensure the quality of recess sports activities.It is suggested to deepen the governance cooperation to empower the development planning of recess sports activities,mobilize diversified participation to increase the main linkage of recess sports activities,optimize the organization and implementation to enhance the efficacy of recess sports activities in educating people and improve the supervision and evaluation to guarantee the quality of recess sports activities.
