This article introduces Professor Li Siwen's clinical experience in treating radioactive enteritis based on the“collateral disease theory”from the perspective of intestinal collaterals.Professor Li Siwen believes that the imbalance of qi and blood and the stagnation of intestinal collaterals are the key pathogenesis of the disease.The disease is mainly located in the intestines,closely related to the spleen and stomach,and can reach the kidney for a long time;In terms of treatment,the method of promoting qi and regulating blood circulation,removing blood stasis and unblocking collaterals should be used throughout the whole process.At the same time,it should be treated according to the different degrees of intestinal injury by stages:in the acute stage,the treatment should focus on clearing heat and removing dampness,stopping blood and unblocking collaterals,while in the chronic stage,the treatment should strengthen the spleen and kidney,activating blood and unblocking collaterals,and the clinical effect is significant.One classic medical record is attached for verification.
