批评认知视角下经贸协议新闻叙事的话语研究

Discourse Study on News Narrative of Economic and Trade Agreements from Critical Cognitive Perspective

新闻叙事借用文学叙事的语言形式,来生动地描述真实事件,成为新闻报道的重要模式。叙事的过程会使读者对报道的事件产生参与感,从而产生共情和共鸣。本文以新闻叙事为进路,基于认知语言学的心理空间和概念整合理论,探讨英汉新闻叙事的心理空间内嵌和整合方法,对话语进行批评认知分析。通过对比英汉新闻叙事的特点和传播效果,发现英文的叙事空间采用现在时,让读者感受到国际贸易面临的困境以及寻找破解之法的紧迫;中文的叙事空间采用过去时,让读者产生整体形势较好的安全感,且多使用直接引语和感知动词,对企业在全球经济衰退的不利形势下善抓机遇和勇对挑战的智慧和勇气有了深入的了解。同时提出中国新闻叙事对外传播话语建构的建议,以便讲好中国故事。

News narrative borrows the language form of literary narrative to vividly describe real events,which becomes an important mode of news reporting.The narrative process generates a sense of engagement and empathy among readers towards reported events.This article,based on mental space and conceptual blending theory of cognitive linguistics,explores how Chinese and American news narratives apply methods of space embedding and blending to critically analyze discourse.By comparing characteristics and dissemination effects of English and Chinese news narratives,it is found that the narrative space in English adopts present tense,making readers feel the difficulties faced by international trade and the eager to find the way out,while narrative space in Chinese adopts past tense,placing them at a safe distance from difficulties by giving them expectation.Besides,Chinese narrative uses more Free Indirect Mode and verbs of cognitive perception than English,gaining a deep understanding of wisdom and courage of enterprises to seize opportunities and bravely face challenges in the unfavorable situation of global economic recession.At the same time,the paper proposes suggestions for construction of Chinese news narrative discourse in international communication,in order to tell the story of China well.
