华语政策和族群身份对泰国印尼来华留学生语言态度的影响

The Influence of China's Language Policy and Ethnic Identity on Language Attitudes of Thai-Indonesian Students

摘要 语言态度评估是语言推广和文化传播的前提与基础。基于双重态度理论探讨华语政策差异与族群身份对泰国和印尼来华留学生语言态度的影响,采用语言态度问卷和IAT范式测量其对汉语和所属国官方语言的外显态度与内隐态度。结果发现,泰国来华留学生对汉语和泰语的外显态度与内隐态度一致,对汉语的评价低于对泰语的评价。印尼来华留学生对汉语和印尼的外显态度与内隐态度分离,在外显态度上,华裔学生对汉语的评价优于对印尼语的评价,在内隐态度上对汉语与印尼语的评价相当;非华裔学生在外显态度上对汉语与印尼语的评价无显著差异,但对印尼语的内隐评价高于对汉语的内隐评价。研究表明,所属国华语政策与族群身份影响来华留学生的语言态度。 Language attitude assessment is the premise and foundation of language promotion and cultural transmission.Based on the dual attitude theory,this paper explored the influence of Chinese policy differences and ethnic identity on the language attitudes of foreign students from both countries.The explicit and implicit attitudes of foreign students towards Chinese and the official languages of their host countries were measured separately by language attitude questionnaire and IAT paradigm.The results show that the explicit and implicit attitudes of Thai students towards Chinese and Thai are consistent,and the evaluation of Chinese is lower than that of Thai.While the explicit and implicit attitudes of Indonesian foreign students towards Chinese and Indonesia are separated.In terms of episod-ic attitudes,Chinese students evaluated Chinese better than Indonesian,and in terms of implicit attitudes,Chinese and Indonesian were comparable;non-Chinese students did not have any significant difference in their evaluation of Chinese and Indonesian in terms of episodic atitudes but their implicit evaluation of Indonesian was higher than the implicit evaluation of Chinese.The whole study sug-gests that language policy and ethnic identity influence language attitudes.
