A look back at the upsets and unexpected turnarounds at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations,Cote d’Ivoire brilliantly orchestrated and won the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations(CAN),held from 13 January to 11 February 2024,demonstrating its excellence in sports,security and modernisation.Sporting challenges were at the heart of the event,with 24 passionately competitive teams divided into six groups,offering intensely contested matches to an enthusiastic audience.These encounters highlighted the balance of footballing power between nations,and unexpected turnarounds defying predictions of bookmakers and football pundits.
