摘要 The diverse carbon sources in the gut tract provide various nutritional niches for the gut microbiota(GM).Differential glycan utilization influences GM formation in these niches[1].Bifidobacteria are key microorganisms in the human gut,as they maintain a long-term symbiotic relationship with their hosts, which is essential for gut homeostasis and health. The high abundance and colonization of Bifidobacteria in the gut are closely related to their strong ability to degrade human milk oligosaccharides(HMOs)and dietary glycans.
