This article investigates the application of Total Quality Management(TQM)in software development project process management.By analyzing the current application status of TQM in the software industry,this article introduces the basic concepts,principles,and methods of TQM,and explores its role in software development projects.Research has found that the application of TQM has significant advantages in helping software development teams improve product quality,reduce costs,reduce defects,optimize processes,and improve customer satisfaction.By implementing TQM,software developers can better meet customer needs,improve market competitiveness,and ultimately achieve sustainable development.This article proposes a method and strategy for applying TQM to the process management of software development projects,aiming to provide new ideas and methods for quality management in software enterprises,and has important significance in promoting the sustainable development of the software industry.
