In order to meet the requirement of the transformation and upgrading of chemical industry as soon as possible,School of Petrochemical Engineering in Liaoning Petrochemical University starts from the refining of specialty orientation and discipline characteristics,and deepens the integration of industry and education.Meanwhile,the major focuses on cultivating students"comprehensive ability and professional spirit through perfecting the education function,scientific planning of the curriculum system,reforming the practical teaching system and improving the school-enterprise collaboration mechanism.It is expected to provide reference for the high quality upgrading of chemical engineering major in universities with local industrial characteristics.
