摘要
劳拉·埃斯基韦尔的《恰似水于巧克力》被称为厨房文学的开创之作,其中塑造了一个表征性的厨房空间,这个空间不仅仅指厨房所在的实体空间,也是厨房精神的抽象空间,是人际关系与文化形式的建构与体现。书中的厨房是一个开放的生活空间,厨房包容万物、创造万物,通向外界与宇宙,甚至通向最神圣的伊甸园。食物是厨房空间中的媒介,建立起人与人、人与自然之间的联系。蒂塔在厨房空间中传达着食物话语,找到了自身的生存空间和生命价值。人们在厨房中孕育、成长和相爱,通过食物延续生命,与食物神灵、亡者魂灵相感应,厨房中可以诞生回归到自然与本质的“新人类”。
