科技自立自强是国家强盛之基,创新是引领发展的第一动力。我国推进科技强国建设是应对国际竞争新形势与国内高质量发展的需要,是满足人民对美好生活新期盼的需要,是增强高水平自立自强能力水平的需要。目前,我国建设科技强国还面临基础研究薄弱、核心技术缺乏、创新人才队伍建设不完备、高水平科技创新体制有待完善等挑战。为应对这些挑战,必须加强党对科技工作的全面领导,推进基础研究高质量发展,不断提升我国的科技创新能力,加强我国科技人才队伍建设,推进科技体制改革。

Scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement is the foundation of national strength.Innovation is the primary driving force for development.Chinese scientific and technological powerhouse is the need of the new situation of international competition and high quality development in China,which is the need of meeting people's new expectations for a better life,and the need of enhancing high-level self-reliance and self-improvement abilities.Now there are many problems for China to construct scientific and technological powerhouse.For example,the basic research is weak,as well as lack of core technology and innovative talent team.The high-level scientific and technological system should be improved.To face these challenges,we must strengthen the leadership of the Communist Party of China to the scientific and technological work,promote high-quality development of basic research,enhance China's technological innovation capabilities,strengthen the construction of China's technology talent team,promote the reform of the technology system.
