赋能与拓域:互联网使用对我国老年人社会参与模式的影响研究

Empowerment and Domain Expansion:the Impact of Internet Use on Social Participation Patterns of Chinese Older People

基于中国老年社会追踪调查(CLASS)2018年数据,采用潜类别模型(LCA)对老年人社会参与模式进行提炼;分析互联网使用对老年人社会参与模式的影响及其群体异质性,并以积极老龄观为中介变量考察其作用机制。研究发现:1)老年人社会参与模式分为公益参与型、文娱参与型、传统参与型、社交参与型和公民履责型,其中公民履责型为首次发现;2)互联网使用拓展了我国老年人社会参与的领域,对公民履责型老年群体影响最为突出;3)互联网使用通过改善老年人积极老龄观促进其社会参与,互联网赋能作用明显且存在群体异质性。

Based on data of the 2018 China Longitudinal Ageing Social Survey(CLASS) and using the Latent Class Analysis model(LCA),this paper refined the pattern of social participation of older adults,analyzed the effects of Internet use on the pattern and the group heterogeneity,and examined the action mechanism with positive ageing as a mediating variable.The findings are as follows.Firstly,social participation patterns of older people can be divided into public welfare participation,recreational participation,traditional participation,and participation for social communication and civic responsibility shouldering,among which the last was first found.Secondly,the use of the Internet has expanded the field of social participation of the elderly in China,and has the most prominent impact on those who participate for civic responsibility shouldering.Thirdly,Internet use has promoted seniors' social participation by improving their positive view of ageing;and the empowering effect of the Internet is obvious,and there is heterogeneity among different groups.
