摘要
托马斯·怀亚特是英国亨利八世时期政治家、外交官、诗人。他将意大利十四行诗引入英国,开创了现代英语诗歌新纪元。怀亚特的一生,因与王室的关系受益或蒙损,随王国之间的博弈大起或大落。他将自己的政治生活和情感体验植入诗歌之中,使其充溢着鲜活的生命力和时代特征,映照出都铎宫廷的立体图景。本文以怀亚特的人生历程为经,诗歌创作为纬,在“诗”与“史”的交织中,探索文学与社会、政治、文化之间的共生关系。
Thomas Wyatt was an English statesman,diplomat,and poet during the reign of HenryⅧ.He introduced Italian sonnets to England,ushering in a new era of modern English poetry.With his relationship with the royal family waxing and waning,Wyatt's life had been marked by many ups and downs.He imbued his own political life and emotional experience into his poems,making them full of fresh vitality and characteristics of the times,reflecting the three⁃dimensional picture of the Tudor court.Based on Wyatt's life history and poetry creation,this article explores the symbiotic relationship between literature and society,politics and culture.
