基于彼得·纽马克翻译理论的《中医诊断学》教材英译研究

摘要 近年来,随着“一带一路”倡议的提出,中医药来华留学教育蓬勃发展,进一步加强中医学专业双语教材编译水平,对于提升海外留学生培养质量具有重要意义。英国翻译家、翻译理论家彼得·纽马克(Peter Newmark)于1994年提出关联翻译法,对中医药翻译具有一定的启示作用。以《中医诊断学》双语教材英译为切入点,围绕中医术语翻译、中医典籍名翻译及医古文翻译三方面,重点探讨中医学专业教材英译的重难点及翻译方法,探索中医类教材英译的策略,以期为中医教材的翻译提供借鉴。 In recent years,with the“Belt and Road”Initiative,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)education for overseas students in China has been booming.Further strengthening the compilation and translation of bilingual TCM textbooks is of great significance for improving the cultivation of overseas students.Peter Newmark,a prestigious British translator and translation theorist,proposed correlative approach to translation in 1994,which can provide certain reference for TCM translation.Starting from the English translation of the bilingual textbook of Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine,this paper focuses on three aspects,namely the translation of TCM terms,the translation of TCM classics titles and the translation of ancient medical texts,exploring intensively the important and difficult points and translation methods of TCM professional textbooks to discuss relevant translation strategies,and hoping to provide inspiration for the translation of other TCM textbooks.
