From the Medieval Monastery to the Modern University Campus

现代教育建筑及其园区的衍变历程,起源于欧洲中世纪修道院,暂时止步于当代微型城市型都市校园,城市化和反城市化的综合影响一以贯之。教育园区空间形态的变化反映了不同时代的大学师生和城市活动的关系,以及校园和城市的关系。以时间为序,文章论述了不同时期的教育园区类型,并总结了师生的学术活动和城市生活的不同诉求对园区空间变化的影响。

The integrated impact of urbanization and anti-urbanization are consistent in the evolution of the modern educational architecture and campus.This process originated from the European medieval monastery and temporarily stopped in the contemporary micro-urbanism metropolitan campus.In different eras,changes of the education campus' spatial forms reflect the relationship between town and gown,and also the interaction between the university and the city.Chronologically,the paper discusses the types of education campus in the milestone and summarizes the influence on the spatial changes in education campus,which caused by distinct demands in teacher-student groups' academic activities and city living.
