摘要
20世纪20年代,刘既漂等留法艺术家注重实用性与装饰美的结合,并引入了西方的装饰艺术。其间刘既漂强调“中西调和”,在建筑设计、图案设计中的装饰艺术表现,折射出其“创造中国未来之新艺术”的初衷与理想。刘既漂的装饰艺术实践与理论建构,不仅促进了传统手工艺的发展,而且推动了国内工艺美术创作的发展。本文通过梳理刘既漂艺术文献,探究其装饰艺术思想及内涵,以丰富、还原艺术家在20世纪中国艺术现代化进程中作出的贡献。
In the 1920s,Liu Jipiao and other artists studying in France emphasized paintings being both pragmatic and decorative,and introduced western decorative art into China.During this period,Liu emphasized athe harmony of eastern and western arto,and the decorative art shown in the design of buildings and patterns reflected his purpose and ideal of acreating a new Chinese art in the futureo.Liu's practice of decorative art and his efforts of developing theories promoted the development of both traditional handicrafts and the creation of arts and crafts in China.By combing through Liu's articles on art,this article explores his thoughts on decorative art and their meaning,in order to enrich and demonstrate the artist's contribution to the modernization of Chinese art in the 20th Century.
