摘要
鲁昭公十年,即孔子成亲后的次年,其妻诞下一名男婴。其时,孔子因学识渊博,能力出众,深获鲁昭公赏识。所以在孔子喜获麟儿后,昭公特意馈赠给孔子一尾鲤鱼,以示祝贺。而孔子感念国君的赐礼,遂为其子取名孔鲤,后取字伯鱼。
“Duke Zhao Bestows a Carp upon Confucius in Honor of the Birth of His Son”Confucius'wife gave birth to a boy in the second year after their union,in the tenth year of the reign of Duke Zhao of Lu(532 BCE).At the time,Confucius was acknowledged by Duke Zhao for his extensive knowledge and extraordinary talents.The Duke bestowed a carp on the family to commemorate the occasion.As a token of gratitude.
