摘要
米兰·昆德拉在小说叙事方式方面的新颖尝试为叙事学的相关研究提供了绝佳素材。他晚年的作品《庆祝无意义》忠实于其小说的诸多元素,以充满哲思的语言阐述生命的“无意义”。不过小说发表时间较晚,与昆德拉其他作品相比尚有较大研究空间,相关研究也较少涉及叙事学分析。本论文主要从叙事空间角度分析小说《庆祝无意义》的叙事技巧,理清小说的框架结构,展示小说各部分内在和外在的联系,理解人物与时空的关系,进而揭示小说主旨。
Milan Kundera’s innovative attempts at narration provide excellent material for the study of narratology.His later work,The Feast of Insignificance,while retaining many of the elements typical of his novels,narrates the“insignificance”of life in a philosophical way.However,due to its late publication,research on the novel is unsatisfactory compared to Kundera’s other works,especially in the field of narratological study.This thesis thus proposes an analysis of its narrative approaches through the prism of spatiality.The aims are to clarify its structure,expose the internal and external connections between the different parts of the novel,and understand the relationship between the characters and space to reveal its essential theme.It is also hoped that the analysis will help draw the attention of Chinese readers to the novel.
