Systems thinking,as an epistemological and methodological tool,is essential for the comprehensive understanding and advancement of the modernization of China's extensive society.It is also a crucial aspect of 21st-century Marxism as it has evolved within the Chinese context.The modernization of China hinges on the modernization of both its governance system and capabilities,with each aspect reinforcing the other.Applying systems thinking is imperative to grasp the Chinese approach to the modernization of national governance,its core objectives,and essential aspects.This includes addressing the institutional framework,various domains,and the interplay between historical and contemporary,domestic and foreign elements.Efforts should be made to enhance every stage and the capabilities of all participants in China's governance.There should be a concerted effort to improve the coherence and interactivity between the conceptual,institutional,and practical levels of state governance modernization.The ultimate goal is to develop China into a comprehensively modern socialist nation.
