摘要
大学是一个高度依赖声誉辨识的社会组织,声誉循环是大学面向未来的战略选择。从办学质量、教育市场与大学排名三个方面分析,创业型大学正是遵循声誉循环战略的典范。创业型大学声誉循环的运行机制主要表现为:以资金为聚能点、以师资为出发点、以成果为落脚点、以声誉为发光点、以生源为新起点。在此运行机制的作用下,创业型大学比传统型大学更能实现高校的主体性复归、办学资金筹措的多元化以及知识生产模式的转向,成为当前最有利于实现声誉循环战略的大学模式。随着声誉循环的不断推进,创业型大学建设会先后实现两个转向,即从办学理念到办学类型的转变,再从“自我”到“无我”的发展。
Reputation is very important for universities,and reputation cycles are the key to the long-term success of these institutions,including entrepreneur universities.Virtuous reputation cycles arise when entrepreneur universities have improved their education quality,won recognition in the education market,and boosted their ranking positions.Several elements are quite essential for entrepreneur universities to achieve reputation cycles,including sufficient funding,competent teachers,outstanding achievements,wide recognition,and selective admission.In fact,compared with traditional institutions,entrepreneur universities are more likely to achieve reputation cycles,because they usually have greater autonomy and are better funded and more fitting for the new mode of knowledge production.Nevertheless,building reputation cycles is not just a challenge confronting entrepreneur universities,but something that need to be taken seriously by all institutions.
