Maintaining the authority of the Party Central Committee is a major founding principle of the Marxist political parties,and it is also the highest principle for upholding the party's leadership.Over the past century,the CPC has always adhered to the party's overall leadership.The authority of the CPC Central Committee has been formed in the period of the new-democratic revolution,safeguarded in the period of socialist revolution and construction,reshaped in the period of reform,opening up and socialist modernization,and strengthened in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the course of 100 years of practical exploration and theoretical innovation in maintaining the authority of the CPC Central Committee,the CPC has also summarized and formed a series of basic experiences,that is,to correctly handle the dialectical relationship between democracy and centralism,discipline and freedom,and the will of the political party and the will of the leader.
