《周易》以卜筮为表、哲学为里,是一部重要的源头性著作。“中”与“正”是《周易》中有关爻位的一组概念,出现频率极高,使全书具有浓厚的中正思想。儒家孔子曾到访楚地,推动了《周易》与中正思想在楚地的传播。屈原对《周易》中正思想有所接受,其追求“美政”的政治理想符合“中正之道”,其处世原则是“正道直行”,其道德追求是中正之德。

The Book of Changes,with divination as its form and philosophy as its essence,is an important source work in China.The frequent appearance of the pair of concepts of“Zhong”(honesty)and“Zheng”(righteousness)in the book makes the book bear the thought of honesty and righteousness.The visit of Confucius to Chu has promoted the spread of The Book of Changes in Chu.Qu Yuan accepts the thought of honesty and righteousness in the book,which is in line with his political ideal of pursuing“benevolent governance”.His principle of dealing with the world is justice,and his moral pursuit is the virtue of honesty and righteousness.
