The modern Olympic Games,being a global sporting event,have always been in the spotlight.Its mascot,created through cartoon visual modeling to express the profound meaning of the traits of the common human spirit of sports,has therefore been all the rage in publicity and attention-getting materials,as well as in the endlessly fascinating discussion and research surrounding the subject.Through a review of the developmental history of Olympic mascots,the paper systematically explores the evolution of Olympic mascot design from various angles,including prototype selection,quantitative relations,head-body ratios,and expressions.The author outlines the features and trends of each developmental stage,with the aim of offering specific theoretical and practical references for research in this field.
