水环境变迁视阈下区域水文化的历史构建:基于娄江的考察

The Historical Construction of Regional Water Culture fromthe Perspective of Water Environment Change:An Investigation Based on the Loujiang River

区域水文化是历史时期一定社会单元构建的以水为核心的物质和精神文明的总和,是区域地理变迁和社会精神内核更替的集中反映。基于以娄江为中心的研究发现,娄江流经的昆山、太仓地区物质水文化的形成,历经宋代堤防和圩岸、元代港口和码头、明清水闸和海塘的历史演进过程,区域水文化的构建具有明显的历时性和层累性特征。在物质水文化构建的同时,与水相关的精神信仰和社会风俗活动存续于地方社会。昆山、太仓地区受江河湖海多种自然要素的影响,区域性重要河道娄江的变迁与该区域水文化的历史构建有着紧密关联,该区域水文化的整体风貌是独特人水关系互动调适的结果。

Regional water culture is the sum of material and spiritual civilization,which is centered on water and is constructed by certain social units in historical periods.It is a concentrated reflection of regional geographical changes and the replacement of social and spiritual cores.Based on the research centered around the Loujiang River,it has been found that the formation of material water culture in the Kunshan and Taicang regions through which the Loujiang River flows has gone through the historical evolution process,including dykes and embankments in the Song Dynasty,ports and docks in the Yuan Dynasty,and water gates and seawalls in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The construction of regional water culture has obvious historical and layered characteristics.Along with the construction of material water culture,spiritual beliefs and social customs related to water persist in local society.The Kunshan and Taicang regions are influenced by various natural factors such as rivers,lakes,and seas.The changes in the important regional river,the Loujiang River,are closely related to the historical construction of water culture in this region.The overall landscape of water culture in this region is the result of unique interaction and adjustment of relationships between human and water.
