《碛砂藏》随函音义庄组三等字的洪音化及相关问题

The-i-Loss of Zhuang-san(庄三)Characters in Suihan Yinyi(随函音义)of Qishazang(碛砂藏)and Some Related Issues

《碛砂藏》随函音义中,庄组三等字在其常用字较多的韵中反切改良非常普遍,切下字大量改用本组字,且庄组三等字只作本组字的切下字,反映了这类字失去价音,读为洪音。音变原因大致有二,一是正齿音两组声母组成的音节结构格局中存在许多空格,二是庄组卷舌音声母对的同化。这一音变导致庄章两组的组合关系发生变化,并引发音系结构调整、两组合流。

In Suihan Yinyi(随函音义)of Qishazang(碛砂藏),it was common that a lot of Fanqie(反切)of Zhuang-san(三)characters had been modified in the rhymes with high-frequency characters.It showed that their second characters of Fanqie spelling were replaced by the characters in the same group,and these characters acted as second characters of Fanqie(反切)spelling only to spell Zhuang-san(庄三).All of that reflected Zhuang-san(庄三)had lost the medial-i-.There are two possible reasons for this phonetic change.One is that a lot of slots appeared in the syllable structure in which Zhengchi(正齿)initials participated,and the other is that medial-i-assimilated by the apico postalveolar of Zhuang()initials.This phonetic change brought about the change in the syntagmatic relationship of Zhuang(庄)and Zhang(章)and initials the adjustment of phonological structure that Zhuang merged with Zhang.
